North Mymms Scout Group

North Mymms Scout Group is a lively and flourishing Scout Group based in Brookmans Park. The group was formed in the 1930s, and has been at its current site on Station Road since 1962.

The group has three active sections, which together have a total of about 200 young people attending each week.

We are one of the largest and most active groups in the country however like most groups, we could always benefit from additional adult help with any of the sections, please let us know if you would be interested in helping with what is really good fun! Free training is provided by the Scout Association.

Beavers (Age 6-8)
The Beaver Colony, under the leadership of Ian Lewington, meets on Friday evenings from 6:15-7:15pm.

Cubs (Age 8-10.5)
Our cub pack, which meets on Wednesday night, from 6:45-8:15pm, under the leadership of Michael Carey.

Scouts (Age 10.5-14)
We have five large active scout troops, which meet on Tuesday, Thursday (both 7-9pm) and Friday (7:30-9:30pm) at various local venues. The programme for all the troops are the same; they are just split to make the numbers more manageable!

Silver Phoenix Explorer Unit, for young people aged 14-18 currently has around 40 members and meets locally in Potters Bar.
