Ideas needed for next PEAP project
The committee of volunteers working on the North Mymms Parish Environmental Action Plan (PEAP) is now considering what the next project for the area should be.
Over the last few weeks, leaflets setting out details for a circular walk in the local countryside have been delivered to every home in North Mymms. The one and a half hour walk, highlighting some of the local historical and geological features, was the first PEAP initiative in the area. The group of local volunteers include representatives from the North Mymms Parish Council, the North Mymms and District Green Belt Society, the Gobions Woodland Trust, the North Mymms Local History Society, the North Mymms Scouts, the Royal Veterinary College and this site. If anyone has any ideas for the PEAP committee to consider, please add them to the discussion thread running on this site's forum. If you missed the circular walk brochure, click here to see the front page or click here for the back page. Alternatively, you can click here to download the leaflet as a .pdf, although this file is large and will take time to download. Copies of the leaflet will be available at the local public library and Potterells Medical Centre. 17 September 2005
