No trains for the rest of the month Following the fatal rail crash near Hatfield on the 17th October, there will be no trains running through the village for the rest of the month, and probably longer. WAGN are continuing to run a regular bus service between Potters Bar and Stevenage, calling at Potters Bar, Brookmans Park, Welham Green, Hatfield, Welwyn Garden City, Welwyn North, Knebworth and Stevenage.
WAGN have also published a revised emergency timetable, the details of which are reprinted below: The train service between Potters Bar and London Moorgate will depart Potters Bar at 5, 15, 25, 35, 45 and 55 minutes past each hour, commencing at 6am. All trains will stop at all stations, however arrivals after 20:30 will terminate at Kings Cross. The train service between Moorgate and Potters Bar will depart Moorgate at 6, 16, 26, 36, 46 and 56 minutes past each hour. All trains will stop at all stations, however departures after 20:30 will be from Kings Cross. Buses are running from Potters Bar calling at all stations to Stevenage, an additional service is running between Potters Bar, Cuffley, Hertford North and Stevenage. In addition, WAGN is providing peak time buses (6:00-10:00, 16:00-21:00) from Welwyn Garden City to St Albans, and Stevenage to Luton Airport Parkway. WAGN tickets are valid on these buses, and also the Thameslink services running into London.
