Christmas tree lighting plans
For the third year running, the Rotary Club of Brookmans Park is organising the lighting up of the Bradmore Green Christmas tree.
Last year around 200 local residents braved freezing temperatures to gather for the event. This year the lights will be lit at 18:30 on Tuesday 28 November. Rotary say the choir from Chancellor's school will again be leading the carol singing and there will be complimentary mulled wine, hot chocolate and mince pies. Organisers say Santa will be making a special appearance for the children, arriving on his sleigh at 18:15, so make sure you get there early. Last year's collection was in aid of the Isabel Hospice - Children and Teenage bereavement support. You can discuss the tree in this site's Forum 18 November 2006
