Have you got an old mower you no longer need?

The North Mymms Scout Group is looking for a replacement lawnmower after thieves broke into the group's shed in Brookmans Park and stole their gardening equipment.

The mower was used to keep the land around the scout premises tidy. It was also used to help the scouts learn how to care for gardens.

Now Ian Lewington, Group Scout Leader, is looking for a replacement.

"If you are thinking of trading your mower in and it's not worth much, please consider donating it to the scouts," he said.

They need a petrol-driven machine because of the size of the plot, but say it doesn't have to be in great condition.

"Anything will do, as long as it works," is the message from the scouts.
