Village day donation points

Collections for Brookmans Park village day are underway with donation bins in place at the primary school for the next month.

Brookmans Park Primary school is emphasising that only 'good quality items' are wanted and special collection bins have been placed at the front and rear entrances of the school during school hours.

To help those who have to sort the goods for village day, the school is asking people to donate certain goods during certain weeks.

Each week (except half-term week when there won’t be any collections) is being designated for specific categories of items. They are as follows:

Monday 19 May - Friday 23 May - cans & jars
Monday 2 June - Friday 6 June - bottles & packets
Monday 9 June - Friday 13 June - gifts, toiletries & toys
Monday 16 June - Friday 20 June - anything.

According to the organisers help is always required, even if it is only an hour. If you can help, you can contact John Fraser through the forum and he will pass the details on.

The theme for village day 2003 is 'Animal Magic' and the event is being held on Saturday 21 June.
