Changes to local bus service

Universitybus has announced changes to the buses currently serving Brookmans Park. The 636 Potters Bar to Hatfield and 610 Enfield to Hatfield routes are being combined into one service. As a result there will be buses running through the village on a Sunday and also serving the Vet College.

The new service, which will start running from Sunday 2nd June, will be called 610. From Monday to Friday, the route will run from Hatfield - Welham Green - Brookmans Park - Vet College - Potters Bar - Northaw - Enfield and back again, with services running (roughly) hourly.

On Saturday, the service will run between Hatfield - Welham Green - Brookmans Park - Potters Bar, again on an hourly frequency. On Sundays, there will be a two-hourly service, extending to Welwyn Garden City, via the QE II hospital. This will be called route 302.
