Police meetings moved to evenings
The community police team says it has moved a number of the community liaison meetings to the evenings following requests from the public. The monthly consultation sessions were set up so that the residents of Brookmans Park and Little Heath can raise any issues that may concern them. According to PCSO Louise Luxford, the aim of the sessions is to try to help the police understand better the concerns and worries of local residents. "It's also a way of getting the local residents to tell us what they think our main local priorities should be, rather than the police guessing. That way we can pay attention to the issues that matter the most to local residents," she said. Some meetings will still be held during the day. All meetings are held in the lounge except for the December meeting, which is to be held in the community room. Evening meetings are in bold.
