The troop relies on fund-raising to help pay for the many activities they offer local youth and replacing the trailer is not going to be easy.

According to local scout leader James Bentall, writing in the forum, the trailer was taken from the scout hut compound sometime during Saturday, March 24 between 12:30 and 23:05.

He has told the police and is appealing to anyone who either saw the trailer being taken from the hut or has seen it since to let the local police know on 01707 638100.
