Police say a Home Office pathologist has carryied out a post mortem on the body of a woman found at the side of Bradmore Lane.

Hertfordshire Constabulary says its family support unit is in touch with relatives of a 57-year-old Hatfield woman who has not been seen since Wednesday 10 June.

Officers say the body was found at 13:27; the woman was pronounced dead at the scene. Bradmore Lane was closed while investigations took place.
