Police thank public following appeal
Police say they are confident that they know the identity of the local youth they were searching for yesterday. Officers have thanked users of this site following the response to the police appeal for information.
Yesterday Hertfordshire police took the unusual step of issuing the nickname of a youth they want to question in connection with a local crime. They called on residents of Brookmans Park to help identify a teenager, known locally as Jay Jay. It followed an incident on Saturday 26 June, when a white male aged 16 or 17 with blond hair and of chubby build, was seen running away from the scene of a vandalised car on Brookmans Park’s Bradmore Green. Police investigations are continuing.
