Skatepark update Research is being carried out into the cost of creating a skatepark for Brookmans Park. It follows a meeting of North Mymms Parish Council at which the idea was discussed.
Councillors asked to see a more detailed plan and a list of ideas about the type of features people would like to see there; they also wanted a break-down of costs.
This site's deputy editor, James Bentall, is carrying out a study of other local skateparks and is asking anyone who has any ideas to contact him with their thoughts. mail James
The idea was raised in this site's Forum where a skatepark discussion is currently underway. One possibility is using some of the council-owned space in Gobions to set up a half-pipe.
