Police set up community meetings
The community police team is setting up monthly consultation sessions so that the residents of Brookmans Park and Little Heath can raise any issues that may concern them. The first of the sessions, which will be held at the Brookmans Park United Reformed Church, will be on Monday 9 February from 10am to noon in the lounge. According to PCSO Louise Luxford, the aim of the sessions is to try to help the police understand better the concerns and worries of local residents. "It's also a way of getting the local residents to tell us what they think our main local priorities should be, rather than the police guessing. That way we can pay attention to the issues that matter the most to local residents," she said. The meetings will be held on the following dates:
