Private funeral for headteacher

The funeral for Paul Wormleighton is to be a private family occasion. Details are not being made public.

Paul, the popular headteacher of Chancellor’s School, died on Wednesday 14 January following a heart attack.

Chancellor's school will not close on the day of the funeral. There are plans for a memorial service to be held in February. The school will be closed on that day so that all can attend. A date has yet to be confirmed.

People wanting to send condolences to the family are asked to do so in writing to the school. You can also leave tributes to Paul Wormleighton in a special forum thread. The page of messages will be forwarded to the school.
