Brookmans Park film company Charlie Productions has been invited to take part in the first Wood Green Film Festival next month.

The company will screen three of its short films, ‘Russell Square’, ‘Burnt Bernard’ and ‘Old Man Dies’ at the event on February 1.

Burnt Bernard was shortlisted for BAFTA's best short film award 2001.

More than 200 films will be feature at the inaugural event at the Cineworld Multiplex.

Recently, BBC LDN put together a five-page feature following the Charlie Production's team through a 48-hour race against the clock to produce a short film in record time.

Charlie Productions operates from the Brook House Design Studios on Bluebridge Road, Brookmans Park.
