Welham Green by-election line up

Four candidates are standing in the Welham Green by-election to be held on Thursday 3 January.

The seat became vacant after the former councillor, Peter O'Brien, resigned in October.

Doug Berry will be standing for the Conservatives, Birdie Croft for Labour, John Elvy for the Liberal Democrats, and Mark Fuller for the British National Party.

Voting will take place at the Memorial Hall, Station Road, Welham Green from 0700 to 2200.
