Local speed restrictions proposed

Hertfordshire County Council is planning to introduce new speed restrictions in an attempt to improve road safety and reduce accidents. Four new 30 mph restrictions are being introduced in the parish of North Mymms.

  • Hawkshead Lane from the junction with Warrengate Road to 20 metres east of the Vet College entrance.
  • Warrengate Road from 5m east of the Swanland Road junction to 56 metres south of Abdale House driveway.
  • Warrengate Road from 10 metres north of 60 Warrengate Road to 32 metres south of Hawkshead Lane.
  • Bradmore Lane from the junction with Warrengate Road for a distance of 20 metres.

The plans are on display at Welwyn Hatfield Council Offices, Hatfield Town Council and Hertfordshire County Council. Objections must be made by January 12 to the County Secretary, County Hall, Hertford SG13 8DE.
