For sale sign on 20-acre field
Part of the 20-acre field, also known as Friday Grove, is up for sale. 5.8 acres is on the market for £25k an acre. The estate agent handling the sale says the land, which is in the green belt, is being sold for grazing, but says that could change in five to 10 years. There site has been subject to much discussion over the years and you can follow developments by clicking on the related news links below. Most recently, in October 2007, there was an attempt to sell the whole site by auction, but the reserve price of £900k+ was not met. The estate agent selling the 5.8 acres is Taylor Langton Associates from St Albans.
