Missing black cat - Mymms Drive (update)
« on: January 10, 2017, 12:56:16 pm »
Our much-loved 1 year old black cat Jasper has been missing since Sunday evening. This is the first time he has ever not come home overnight so we are all rather worried. He is chipped but is not wearing a collar.

Sunday evening was very wet and windy, and I would be most grateful if you could check your gardens, garages and sheds in case he is hiding/injured anywhere.
We live on Mymms Drive, towards the Great North Road end.

Many thanks.

Hi.

Unfortunately not - thanks so much for keeping an eye out for him. We are on the Gobions side of Mymms Drive. Hoping he returns before the snow comes.

we have always had cats and its not unusual for them to disappear for days at a time and then return wondering what all the fuss is about!

I know through experience if you empty the contents of your vacuum in the garden, if the cat is disorientated this helps them pick up their scent to return home.

Thanks again, and thanks for the tip. Makes sense given the contents of our vacuum are 90% cat fur :)

A black cat has been visiting our garden in Bluebridge Road for the last month. I think it's a he but he's quite a large one and possibly more than one year old. He doesn't have a collar. Trouble with black cats is they all look the same - if he comes back it might be an idea to get him a collar, so he can be identified and returned. Hope it turns out well.

Many thanks to everyone who checked their gardens or has kept an eye out for Jasper over the last few days. He has now been found, unfortunately victim to a car accident.
