Another Shop in the village bites the dust
« on: November 24, 2016, 10:24:10 pm »
The opticians will be closing it's doors on Saturday this week.
Shame, but not sufficient business, that said, they were not good at up selling or marketing.

Bit disappointing  really.

Yes, I just called to check and was told that it's closing today.

It's a shame but just like any other business it has to be viable, ie profitable, for it to survive
The vast majority of shops are occupied though which makes BP different to a lot of other small shopping centres.
How long until we get a charity shop I wonder ?

With the state the economy is in perhaps it won't be long, followed by food banks, perhaps?   :-\
