This year Welham Green Balloon Day is being held on a Sunday, not Saturday as in previous years. The date will be 15th September. If you can help in advance or on the day, or if you would like a stall, please contact the committee by e-mail: info(at)

Plans for our fourth Balloon Day, on SUNDAY September 15th, are going well, as usual it will take place on the village green. We have lots of stalls and attractions lined up again.
We could still use more donations of raffle prizes, tombola prizes, books and cakes (on the day) and we can always use more help on the day itself, setting up  and clearing away. If you think you can offer any help at all please contact us on the e mail address given in the post above this one.
Make a note of the date in your diaries and do come and join us for a fun afternoon.

Welham Green Balloon Day 2013 - VENUE CHANGE
« Reply #3 on: September 14, 2013, 12:30:19 pm »
Because of the poor weather forecast for tomorrow, we have moved the venue of Balloon Day to the area of the Memorial Hall, the social club and The Sibthorpe Arms. There is still loads to do for all the family (most of it now undercover inside!) so why not come along and see what is going on? Hope to see you there between 12 and 4pm. More info on our website - - don't forget, admission is free!
