Breakaways Cavalcade
« on: April 01, 2007, 07:27:14 am »
Know of any groups of people who can't get out and need cheering up? The Breakaways Cavalcade is a local entertainment group who will perform free-of-charge at nursing homes, hospitals and halls. The group has just launched a website, so you can now contact the organisers online. Click here for more details.
The Brookmans Park Newsletter has been supporting the village and our local community since 1998 by providing free, interactive tools for all to use.

David,

Thanks for featuring the Breakaways on your web site. It's a pity it has not sparked off a little more discussion but perhaps people have noted the details and are in the process of passing them on to the staff at their relatives care home. We will continue to develop the web site and will try to make it more interesting with more pictures, testimonials and perhaps a little music. Keep checking it!

We, 'The Breakaways' originated in Brookmans Park as a spin-off from Chancellor's.

For some 17 years we have entertained at residential homes for the elderly, for care groups and for other local organisations. We now need an influx of new talent, in particular good male voices. If you check out the link from this web site you will get a good idea of what we do and the commitment we need i.e. we tend to do 30 to 40 shows a year and rehearse about every 2 weeks.

Are there any good voices longing to be heard who would be prepared to talk to us about joining our group? You can contact us through our web site phone number.
