POLICE are appealing for information after several equestrian items – including a two-wheeled horse cart - were stolen from Welham Green.

The items were taken between 7pm on Thursday, December 12 and 8am, Friday, December 29, from a field and stables in the Welham Green area.

Offenders have broken into a barn and a shed building and stole the red horse cart, five head collars for horses (two black, one red and one green), a bridle and blue lead line and tools including a skill saw and large smouldering iron.

PC Daniel Beach said: “Have you been offered any item that fits this description? Or do you have any information about this offence?

“If you can help, ring 0845 33 00 222. Alternatively, please call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
