DID YOU SEE MEN PUSHING TROLLEY?
By Susie ODea

POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a break in at a business in Welham Green on Wednesday November 22.

The incident occurred shortly before 1am, when offenders forced access to the business in Dixons Hill Road and stole a safe weighing approximately 110kg, which they hid in bushes nearby the premises.

At around 8.10am, the offenders retrieved the safe from some bushes in an alleyway running between Dixons Hill Road and Somers Square, using a two-wheeled L-shaped removal trolley. They travelled along Somers Road with the safe and trolley, then turned into a garage block.

DC Scott Harvey, investigating the incident, said: “Somers Road is very busy at this time of day and we are keen to hear from anyone who may have seen the trolley being pushed down the road by three men, either with or without the safe on it.

“We would also like to hear from anyone who may recently have lost, or had stolen, a two wheeled movers trolley.”

Anyone with information should contact DC Harvey on 01707 638 235 or alternatively, telephone Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
