Title: The Brookmans Park water meter trial 1989-1992
Post by: Editor on April 06, 2018, 11:37:19 am
Does anyone have one of the slender grey pillars in their front garden left over from the water meter trial of 1989? I have just put a feature on our history site about The Brookmans Park water meter trial 1989-1992 (https://www.northmymmshistory.uk/2018/04/brookmans-parks-water-metering-trial.html), but I don't have a picture of one of the grey pillars to go with it. Apparently they were less than a metre high, and were put in front gardens less than a metre in from the pavement. Anonymity respected, I just need a photo. Please either upload one here or send me a personal message if you can help. Thanks

Thanks for sharing, and thanks for giving me permission to add your image to the feature, which has now been updated.
