Title: A map of local footpaths, dating back to c. 1900, is now online
Post by: Editor on August 30, 2016, 06:04:03 pm
We now have a wonderful old map of the area (http://www.brookmans.com/history/footpaths/) uploaded to this site's growing history section (http://www.brookmans.com/history/) showing the local footpaths long before the A1(M) and the M25. The map - reproduced through a number of photographs - was lent to this site by local historian Peter Miller so that people can enjoy comparing how the area looked more than 100 years ago. Note: When you view the page you can click on any image to enlarge and then click again to zoom in further.
