Folly Arch
« on: September 10, 2002, 10:10:58 am »
Are people concerned about whether Folly Arch is repaired or not? Do people view it as a valuable historical treasure or an eyesore? It now looks as though it is going to cost more to repair, more details. Should English Heritage increase its grant.  Is it money well spent?

So many false dawns!  The NM Green Belt Society keeps plugging away to get work started, as recorded in this week's WH Times.  Any bets the next excuse will be that the work cannot start until next spring because, if they start now, the 20 weeks expected for the work will go into winter.  Don't put money on it.
