Stolen toys
« on: September 01, 2005, 10:54:34 am »
Police have emailed this site with an appeal for help in spotting toys stolen from a company in Welwyn Garden City. Probably the sort of stuff that could turn up at a car boot sale.

CALL POLICE IF YOU SPOT DISTINCTIVE TOYS FOR SALE
By Susie ODea

POLICE are asking members of the public to alert them if they spot some unique toys on sale anywhere.

The toys were stolen from a company in Welwyn Garden City – but the thieves probably don’t know that they are the only toys of their kind and are not on sale anywhere else in the country.

The unique Baby Weaver toys stolen were 252 Puppy Pink, 252 Puppy Blue and 252 Bee discovery gyms and playmats, as pictured.

PC Sarah Henderson said: “These toys were not on general release and if you see them on sale anywhere at all, please ring the non-emergency number 0845 33 00 222 and quote crime number B1/05/3914.”

The Brookmans Park Newsletter has been supporting the village and our local community since 1998 by providing free, interactive tools for all to use.
