Save the Children collection at Sainsbury’s
« on: July 26, 2005, 06:57:57 am »
I’m organising a collection for the charity, Save the Children, at Sainsbury’s (formerly Savacentre), London Colney, on 30 and 31 July 2005.

I’m sure that many people in Brookmans Park do their shopping there. Is there anyone who can spare an hour sometime that weekend to help? It just involves standing outside the shop holding a tin and smiling nicely at people.

Typically, collectors can raise £40 an hour for the charity, so it’s an excellent way to raise funds for a good cause.

If anyone can help, please call me on 01707 884460. I’d really appreciate it.

Thank you!
Susan

Hi Susan,

I have put the details of the collection in the What's On Diary. That way it shows up on the front page of the site.
