If you don't already know and to let you know.

24 Pine Grove is going to be demolished and a new house built on that piece of land.

When its going to happen not sure.

A bit premature!

In the week ending 18 March planning application S6/2005/287/FP was submitted to demolish and erect a new dwelling.  No decision has been taken and you can still make you comments to the planning authority.  You can see the plans at the Council office, Campus East, Welwyn Garden City (next to Waitrose) during office hours.  the plans are held in reception.

While on the subject, since then applications have also been submitted to demolish 42 Brookmans Ave (ref S6/2005/384/FP) and 32 Mymms Drive (ref S6/2005/412/FP) and erect new dwellings - larger obviously.  It seems to be a popular idea in the village.  I should have been a builder!

Hi Buster.
No 49 Brookmans Avenue was knocked down over a year ago. It is no more. It rests in peace. It is an ex house, It has been demolished, removed and a new one erected in its place.

Seen this? Another one bites the dust.

  Appn No S6 2005  412        FP  Ward  B.Park/L.Heath

                        Parish                        North Mymms

Proposal   DEMOLITION OF EXISTING DWELLING AND ERECTION OF SIX BEDROOM  DWELLING
Location     32 MYMMS DRIVE BROOKMANS PARK HATFIELD AL9 7AF
Applicant    MR HELLMAN
Decision Level  DEL  Case Officer  Mr Chris Otoole  01707357392

STOP PRESS.
I HAVE BEEN ADVISED BY A RECENT PURCHASER THAT ANOTHER DWELLING IN BROOKMANS PARK IS SHORTLY GOING TO BITE THE DUST.

I CANT GIVE OUT ANY FURTHER INFORMATION AT THE MOMENT BECAUSE IT IS NOT PUBLIC KNOWLEDGE YET.

And what's the betting that the one in Kentish Lane goes the same way? Small house, big plot, good position. QED.
