Hi,

I am thinking of going the route of Sky "Q" box. Has anyone any experience or comments about its reliability or quality?

thanks

Alex

Hi Alex and anyone considering Sky Q,

I've had Sky Q almost since launch and after one or 2 initial software glitches (which have been sorted now) has been totally reliable - better than the old Sky+ system. All my boxes are connected via wi-fi and this has proved reliable.

Quality is fantastic, especially 4K broadcasts (some films, premier football, occasional series). I wont bore you with the features etc as I'm sure you've read the marketing blurb if you're considering it, but it does what's promised in my experience.

Only downside, as with Sky in general, is the cost although this can be offset if you're willing to negotiate / threaten to cancel in order to get a better deal.
