Introduction to Volunteering Workshop

Dear Watch Member,

#TeamHerts Volunteering is a Hertfordshire County Council funded project which aims to improve engagement in all types of volunteering across the county. Through the website and events, the public can find out more about general volunteering and where to start.

They are holding a FREE Introduction to Volunteering workshop, which looks at the basics of volunteering, what you can expect and more information about how to find the right volunteer opportunity for you. These are informal information sessions where you can ask questions.

The next one in Hatfield is:

19th July 2017
11.30 am till 1:00 pm
Asda Hatfield Superstore
Community Room
98 Town Centre,
Hatfield, AL10 0JP

Each session is free and lasts no longer than 2 hours. There will also be guest speakers from volunteer involving organisations across Hertfordshire talking about how they use volunteers in their charity. These sessions are perfect for those who think they want to volunteer, but just want to know a little bit more before committing to anything.

To guarantee a place just email or call 01462 689 409 with your name and location. For more information about volunteering and to see what other events we have coming up check out and remember to sign up to the newsletter.

You can also receive instant volunteer opportunity updates by joining our Facebook page @TeamHertsVolunteering or by following us on Twitter @TeamHerts.
