Human excrement in Bulls Lane area
« on: March 23, 2016, 01:42:10 pm »

There's been an ongoing problem regarding large amounts of human excrement on:
Footpath 33 - leading from the railway bridge in Bulls Lane up towards Bell Bar
Footpath 34 - Bulls Lane towards the community centre
Footpath 66 (I think) - near the Esso garage on the A1000/Great North Road
(The rights-of-way map is available at http://webmaps.hertsdirect.org/row/row.htm)

See this article published in January in the Welwyn and Hatfield Times. The issue has still not been resolved.

If you have any information, including about incidents dating back to January or beyond, please let the following police and council officers know:
1) PCSO Sam Griffin, who is the police point of contact.
Email: samantha.griffin [at] herts.pnn.police.uk Tel: 01707 806472
2) Matt Smith, who deals with antisocial behaviour at the Welhat Housing Trust.
He's available through the main switchboard on 01707 357000.

Please note that even if you have contacted other council officers, it is worth speaking to Matt, as I have now discovered that, previously, information has not been collated at the council. I believe Matt has now taken on this responsibility.
