This just in from the Neighbourhood Team. Can’t believe parents would “leave the engine running while delivering child, leaving younger child in car”. Does this really happen?

In addition, car thieves target vehicles left running with the keys left in outside schools, at newsagents, petrol stations, at home driveways whist warming-up cars, at hotels (cabs going to reception to collect passengers) at airports (engine left running, go to boot to unload luggage, thief jumps in and drives off)

Do not leave your car running or unlocked at all, even for short periods. Your car insurance policy probably will not cover you for your loss unless force was used.
