Driving in wet conditions.
« on: July 24, 2015, 06:42:14 pm »
Today it has rained for most of the day and there are a lot of large puddles around the village on the roads. Whilst on patrol today not only did I get soaked through by the rain but at 2:00pm I was on Mymms drive when a large 4x4 ran through a massive puddle and gave me a free shower. There are a number of roads around the village were pedestrians have to walk in the road. If you are approaching them please slow down and give them a wide berth especially if there are puddles in the road. I don't mind getting wet in the rain but I didn't appreciate the drenching I received. I only saw the first four of the index so I shall keep my eyes out and have a friendly word with the driver when I find them.
Ps a few of my colleges found it very funny when I told them mind you they had kept dry driving round in cars.

When you find the ignorant critter, nick him/her...... AFAIK soaking pedestrians is now an offence

Saw bill out and about in the rain that day-keep up the good work. Maybe wear a go pro body camera-it will record any future misdemeanors. Pretty sure the met all have them. Look pretty cool too. BP
