Local help for vulnerable residents
« on: November 29, 2014, 08:31:19 am »
Police in Hertfordshire are taking part in a campaign to protect the county’s most vulnerable residents from harm. The initiative covers crime, fire prevention, medical and general needs. Sgt Stephen Hynes of the Safer Neighbourhood team says that if you know someone who might need some help, please encourage them to attend or accompany them to an event.

“All are welcome, whether they are elderly, infirm, have learning difficulties, or are lonely. There might be some way we can help. If you know someone who might benefit but can’t come, please attend on their behalf to talk to the providers.”

Details in the attached poster. This is an information event - with lots of free services provided for by many local agencies. Tea and mince pies are supplied, none of them made by me you will be pleased to learn.
