CHRISTMAS DRINKS!!
« on: December 19, 2004, 11:10:34 pm »
Dear All,

I know it is late notice,  but I would like to suggest Website Christmas drinks on Thursday 23rd of December in the Brookmans, at 9pm.

I would apprciate it if anyone who is coming could let me know, either as a reply to this post, or by private mail so that I know who and how many to expect.

A very merry Christmas to you all.

Aidan

Sorry I won't be joining you this time.
Happy Christmas to you all anyway.  I'm afraid its no use making a joke about the weather and how nice it is to be having Christmas in the sun, because we have been having cold winds from the antarctic, heavy rain, hail and snow down to 700m - and this is summer!!!!!!!!!!  Apparently we are heading for the coldest December on record!
Never mind, its nice and warm with the fire alight, and some mulled wine. :D
PS The 'Christmas' lilies will still be flowering by Christmas Day, and the runner beans are flowering.
