Since last Thursday there have been two reported shed breaks in the Brookmans park area. Both sheds were not locked. It is always worth remembering that high value items are normally stored in sheds such as petrol lawn mowers, mountain bikes and golf clubs and garden tools. Police recommend you buy the best locks bolts and padlocks you can. If you can mark your tools and other items with a uv pen and photograph expensive items to register them on We would also recommend you have a PIR (passive infrared sensorWiki) light which comes on when triggered by movement, criminals prefer to work in the dark and not be overlooked.
