Warrengate Road flood gates closed on 30 Oct 10am to 2.30pm

The Environment Agency (EA) is to carry out a test closure of the flood gate on Warrengate Road on 30 October from 10am to 2.30pm. At the same time the EA will carry out maintenance on the gates.

I wonder if the authorities can engage in some joined up thinking and sort out the adjacent road surface at the same time?

I doubt the environment agency and Herts highways share the same objectives and priorities, so probably not.
