Overnight on 12/08/2014 a burglary has occurred in RAMSEY CLOSE Brookmans park. Entry was gained via a side window. Owners were not present at the time. At this time there are no suspects and the intruder or intruders were not seen so there are no vehicle details or description of offenders to give out.
There was also a theft from a takeaway on Bradmore  Green on the same night of seven drums of cooking oil from a rear storage shed. Restaurants and takeaways are asked to be mindful of theft of cooking oils as this sort of crime is on the increase and is lucrative for criminals as the oil is either recycled or used for bio fuels. If any persons from the village have seen anything relating to these incidents then please call the non emergency telephone number 101. Please be on the lookout in your area for anything that raises your suspicions tell us we need your calls. Don't think someone else will call police as they are probably thinking the same as you. Report it.
