Footpath blocked near Leggats Park
« on: April 13, 2014, 08:28:30 pm »
Whilst out walking today, I came across a hard to avoid hazard. Two willow trees had fallen over and blocked the path and so it required some creative climbing and crawling in order to get through. I do have pics but I am having trouble uploading them.

The location is https://www.google.co.uk/maps?q=Leggatts+Park,+Great+North+Road,+Potters+Bar&hl=en&ll=51.70958,-0.172729&spn=0.002024,0.004823&sll=52.8382,-2.327815&sspn=8.08612,19.753418&oq=Leggats+Par&t=h&hq=Leggatts+Park,&hnear=Great+North+Rd,+Potters+Bar+EN6,+United+Kingdom&z=18

Hi Local Walker,

You can report problems with paths to the Hertfordshire Countryside Access Team. For details about how to reach the team click here.

<a href="http://www.hertsdirect.org/docs/pdf/r/RoWareamap2012.pdf" target="_blank">http://www.hertsdirect.org/docs/pdf/r/RoWareamap2012.pdf</a>

Regarding the pictures you are trying to upload, it could be that the size is too big. Try resizing it using the free online editing tool, PicMonkey and then trying to add it as an attachment to your post.

The 'Attachments and other options' link is just below the field in which you write your post. Screen grab below.

There was a fallen tree blocking the footpath between Bulls Lane and Station Road (Welham Green).  I reported that and it was quickly cleared.

At least it'll keep the people riding horses/pushbikes/motorbikes off the footpath :)
