Free trees for local schools, youth and community groups
« on: August 15, 2013, 01:10:48 pm »
Attention all local schools and youth & community groups interested in protecting the environment. I just saw this tweet from @WoodlandTrust and followed the link. You never know, the extra oxygen might come in useful if the incinerator gets the go-ahead.   :-\

Free trees for school, community and youth groups

We have 4000 free tree packs to give away to school, community and youth groups this autumn. Bring your community together to do something good for your neighbourhood by applying before 13 September 2013 for the chance to receive up to 420 free trees to plant in November 2013. Mix and match the pack themes up to a total of 420 trees to create the ideal mix for your location. One application is required per pack. Each pack is worth 30, 105 or 420. All you need to do is find a suitable site and supply the volunteer planters and tree protection.

The Brookmans Park Newsletter has been supporting the village and our local community since 1998 by providing free, interactive tools for all to use.
