Police increase summer patrols
« on: July 20, 2004, 04:37:08 pm »
Herts constabulary has e-mailed this site saying that police are increasing patrols over the summer in an effort to combat school holiday crime and ensure youngsters stay safe. They say they are targeting trespass and damage, robbery and street crime, road safety, and stranger danger. Click here for more details.

Well...they haven't done a very good job so far.  Monday morning found some of the windows in the brand new shelter of Welham Green station had been completely smashed.

I alerted WAGN by suggesting that they have a patrol along with the community police. Tuesday morning ALL windows on both platforms had been smashed.  >:(
