Willow Wardrobe at Brookmans - come and support it!
« on: February 22, 2013, 03:10:23 pm »
Brookmans is supporting the Willow Foundation with the Willow Wardrobe, a pop-up boutique which opens at the pub between 7th and 10th March.  Donate your unwanted but still classy dresses, tops, shirts, trousers, blouses, hats, bags and shoes to help us make it a big success and raise money for the Willow Foundation, a great local charity.

The pub is turning its Green Room into the Willow Wardrobe, a fantastic pop-up shop bursting with fabulous fashion items you can buy to support the Willow Foundation. The pop-up will be opened by Megs Wilson from the Willow Foundation at 7.45om on Thursday 7th March and be open until Sunday 10th March, Mother’s Day.

But we need your clothes! Drop any items of ladies clothing and accessories off to Brookmans pub or Brookmans Park Primary School.  Or call Brookmans on 01707 664 144 and we will collect.  You can also leave them at The White Horse in Harpenden and The Old Mill in Berkhamsted.

Want to volunteer to help run the pop-up or get involved in another way? We'd love you to! Speak to Lauren or Lloyd at Brookmans or call them on 01707 664 144 or Ami at the Willow Foundation on 01707 259 777.

We are hoping to raise thousands for this amazing local charity but we need you to help us by bringing your pre-loved, favourite clothes to sell!! Raid those wardrobes and dig through those drawers!

Throughout the four days of Willow Wardrobe, we will also be holding a Launch Night Fashion Show and stalls, serving afternoon tea and having live music, all in aid of The Willow Foundation.

Speak to the team at Brookmans or the Willow Foundation for more details or visit

With the days counting down to this Thursday evening’s grand opening of the Willow Wardrobe, a fantastic pop-up boutique bursting with gorgeous pre-loved ladies wear and accessories, the organisers have unveiled the final details of an exciting few days of events to raise money for local charity the Willow Foundation.

For four days, from Thursday 7th to Sunday 10th March, Brookmans pub will be the home of the Willow Wardrobe, a glamorous pop-up boutique selling beautiful classic, designer and vintage clothing, shoes, bags and jewellery in aid of the Willow Foundation.  Pop in any time from 7.45pm on the evening of Thursday 7th March to 4pm on Sunday 10th March for a browse of the rails and get yourself a chic new outfit, a dress for a special occasion or something for that night out you’ve got planned.

Stay for the evening of Thursday 7th March and enjoy a fashion show where you can learn how to make the most of your wardrobe and get some great new looks for spring. Sit back and enjoy delicious canapés and a glass or two of bubbly.  Entry is by donation to Willow and you can also win some fantastic prizes by taking part in a raffle on the night.

The Willow Wardrobe will be open from 9am to 9pm on Friday 8th for more shopping and then in the evening Lounge Room Lizards will be playing live music in the bar, with a BBQ laid on by Brookmans.  Come along for a great night out.

Saturday is for shopping in style, with more glorious garments to choose from in the Willow Wardrobe plus an afternoon full of treats at an exclusive gift fair selling delectable cup cakes, preserves, hand-made candles and jewellery.  Afternoon tea will be served.

Sunday is the final day of the pop-up when you can bag yourself some last minute bargains from the Willow Wardrobe, which is open until 4pm.

Come over any time for a browse and a shop and enjoy the great events lined up in aid of the Willow Foundation to help fund the special days they provide for seriously ill young people. No need to book for any of the events, simply drop in.
