Oh good, M25 roadworks for 2 years
« on: January 12, 2013, 07:10:38 am »
The local paper's talking about reaction to plans to widen the M25 motorway between junctions 23 and 25.

The stretch, which includes the Potters Bar turn off, won’t be physically widened but instead the hard shoulder will come in to use permanently as part of the new plans. ...

It was confirmed that work will start next month and is planned to finish in Spring 2015.

Two years to do that!

They're widening it all the way round in stages.

In the last few years they've done from the A41 at Watford round to South Mimms, two years per section is about standard.

It's a pain while it's going on but noticeably better once it's done.

Expect Potters Bar to get busy though as people cut through to avoid the roadworks.
