Skimpans Farm

I have a wedding pic from 1897, taken at Skimpans Farm, but do not know who was living there at the time.
Wedding was between Rose Northern and John Capes.
Does anyone know who might have been the farm manager / tennant at this time

Jenny,

Have you tried contacting Hertfordshire Archives and Local Studies?  Details can be found on http://www.hertsdirect.org/services/leisculture/heritage1/hals/

They have lots of records, including parish registers.

Jenny,

I believe that Skimpans Farm was owned by Robert George Gaussen of Brookmans and let
to the Crawfords of Potterells Farm at this time but to actually find out who lived there
your best bet will be to view the 1891 and 1901 census returns.
May I ask how you came by the picture and if it would be possible to post it here?
