ALLEGED ASSAULT IN BROOKMANS PARK

Police are appealing for witnesses and information after an alleged assault at a restaurant in Brookmans Park on Sunday (October 9).

The incident is believed to have happened at the Nolita restaurant on the A1000 Great North Road at about 2.15am. Three offenders were made to leave the bar area after alleged bad behaviour, but in doing so they assaulted door staff.

During the incident, it is thought a woman who was at the restaurant tried to assist a man with injuries and was assaulted herself.

Investigating officer PC Ben Dransfield is appealing for anyone who was in the area at the time of the alleged incident and saw anything or has any information to come forward.

In particular, he would like to trace the woman who tried to help and it is believed was also assaulted.

Three men from London aged 58, 36 and 34 have been arrested on suspicion of affray and police bailed until 3 November.

Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call PC Dransfield via the non-emergency number 101. Alternatively, you can call Crimestoppers, the independent charity, anonymous on 0800 555111.

IIRC 'Affray' carries a maximum sentence of 7 years jail. What a result for a night out!   ???  :icon_scratch:
