Avoid Station Road at the moment because the flooding is bad between Potterells and Welham Green, particularly at that spot just before the  church known as watersplash.

Perhaps it wouldn't be so bad if HCC bothered to clean out the drains. I've reported it in the past and got a reply to the effect that it would be done when it came up in the schedules. Trouble is, the drains here collect all the silt washed down the hill from about the Memorial Hall. At the moment, silt in these drains is barely a couple of inches below the top of the grating.

I've moved five posts from this thread - which related to flood defences in Water End - over to the Local Plan thread. No posts have been lost.
