LONG-SUFFERING rail commuters in Welwyn Hatfield and Potters Bar may get some pre-Christmas cheer (not to mention a seat) this week.

I wonder when the news release about associated fare increases is due to come out?

"...new and longer services to King’s Cross and Moorgate."

I'm intrigued to see how they put longer services on the Moorgate line, given that the existing 6 carriage trains totally fill the platforms.

I think for the moorgate services they have just added more of them. There was a new 0707 service this morning from Brookmans Park, for example.
