Sponsored walk - The Lake District
« on: March 27, 2010, 03:06:49 am »
Hi,

I'm hoping to do a charity walk in the lake district and though I've been there many times I do not know the area well nowadays.

Does anyone know the lake district well enough to help me plan my route?  I am hoping to walk the 25 highest peaks and need some help to let me know if doing it in 14 days is madness or not!

Thanks,
Aidan

Hi Aidan,

There are a number of good 'horseshoe' walks where you can tick off a number of the main peaks in one day. If you want to pop round I can lend you loads of books you can use to plan your route. I will PM you my number.
